Supporting FIRST Alumni to excel in STEM pathways
The Faculty of Science and Engineering FIRST Australia Scholarship supports students who have participated in FIRST programs and are ready to take the next step into university study. This scholarship recognises the creativity, innovation and teamwork fostered through FIRST and helps students continue developing these skills at Macquarie University.
Valued at $5,000 per year for up to four years, the scholarship provides financial support to outstanding domestic and international students commencing an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; or any temporary entry visa holder (student visa).

Be commencing full-time in an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Science and Engineering in Session 1 2026.

Demonstrate the FIRST core values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork and fun.
