Organisational Support

Employee Engagement

Empower your staff to volunteer, mentor or judge competitions. FIRST provides meaningful opportunities for employees to develop leadership skills, strengthen teamwork, and engage with young people in inspiring ways.

Program Sponsorship

Support specific FIRST programs and events that align with your organisations goals. Sponsorship opportunities provide direct impact on student experiences while offering recognition, partnership visibility, and strategic engagement.

Scholarships & Internships

Invest in future talent by supporting scholarships or internship pathways for FIRST participants. Help remove barriers to education and create meaningful pathways for students to transition from school into tertiary study and industry careers.

Team Support

Sponsor or adopt a local FIRST team by assisting with registration fees, equipment, or resources. Team support directly empowers students to participate in hands-on STEM learning while strengthening your connection to community.

Mentoring Opportunities

Share industry expertise by mentoring student teams or supporting project development. Mentors help students build technical, problem-solving, and professional skills while forming meaningful relationships that inspire career pathways.

In-Kind Support

Provide goods or services such as equipment, venues, catering, technical expertise, marketing, or logistics. In-kind contributions strengthen program delivery and maximise the impact of every dollar invested in students.

Connect with Students

Build relationships with students through events, workshops, and industry engagement opportunities. FIRST provides early access to emerging talent while helping students explore career pathways and understand real-world industry applications.

Industry Experience Days

Host FIRST students at your workplace for site tours, hands-on activities, employee panels, or innovation workshops. Industry Experience Days connect young people with real STEM careers and build meaningful engagement with your team.

Our Impact

As we work as a community to prepare young people for a STEM future, FIRST aims to ensure its programs are having a lasting, positive impact on participants across all demographic groups. Your support of FIRST Australia helps inspire young minds, nurture creativity, and build the confidence and skills students need to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.

Our Impact

Behind every FIRST Australia robotics team is a young person with a story. These journeys reflect the real impact of FIRST - building confidence, developing technical and interpersonal skills, and opening pathways to future study and careers. The stories below highlight just a few of the many students whose lives have been shaped through their experience with FIRST, demonstrating how participation can influence both personal growth and future direction.

Logan’s journey with FIRST began as a young spectator, inspired by watching his brother compete. What started as curiosity quickly grew into something much bigger. As a student, Logan describes himself as shy and unsure. Through FIRST, he found confidence, purpose, and a sense of belonging. Over time, he grew into someone who could lead, present, and support others, developing not just technical skills, but belief in himself.

Logan

Today, Logan is studying Mechatronics Engineering at Macquarie University, driven by a clear goal to become an engineer. The FIRST Scholarship has helped ease financial pressure, allowing him to focus on his studies and future. Looking back, it’s not just the competitions that stand out for Logan, but the friendships, the shared moments, and the joy of being part of something bigger. For Logan, FIRST wasn’t just a program, it was the experience that helped shape who he is today.

Sponsors and Partnerships

FIRST Australia exists thanks to the dedication, commitment and financial support of our sponsors. Through their generous donations, FIRST Robotics Canada is able to immerse our youth in an environment where science and technology are as celebrated as sports.
