RoboCamps

Bringing STEM Learning to Life

School holidays will never be the same again. Students of all ages (K-12) can learn about robotics in a fun, safe and educational environment.

Under expert supervision, students can design, build and code robots to complete a series of themed challenges. Camps take place in specially designed engineering facilities at Macquarie University.

Introduces more advanced designs with REV FTC robots. These incorporate complex materials and programming languages that provide the basis for deeper experiments with other FIRST Robotics programs.

Safety FIRST to Inspire Creativity

All FIRST Australia RoboCamps have a theme and are based on the principles of the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge programs.

Students are initially taught the necessary skills in building and programming. These are then applied to compete in team-based challenges.

Our camps are facilitated by FIRST Australia staff and are supported by members of the Macquarie University 'Thunder Down Under' FIRST Robotics Competition team.

All staff adhere to Working with Children requirements and are committed to ensuring a safe, educational and inclusive environment.
