Embark on an unforgettable full-day journey through some of Australia’s most iconic locations! 

From exciting rides at Luna Park to meeting koalas and kangaroos at Taronga Zoo, this experience offers a mix of natural beauty, history, education and culture. Participants will enjoy beautiful gardens, the vibrant shores of Bondi Beach, and Sydney's world-renowned landmarks.

Overview

After a weekend of fun and competition at the 2025 Asia Pacific Open Championship, take a moment to kick back and explore the sights of Sydney with your fellow teams! 

Cost is $150 per person covering a guided tour in a coach between all destinations as well as morning tea and lunch. Tickets can be booked individually or in bulk. 

Meeting and pick-up

Location: Departure from Macquarie University campus

Time: 7:30 AM (sharp)

All participants must arrive on time for check-in and departure.

Look for event staff in branded attire for assistance. 

A comfortable, air-conditioned coach will transport attendees to all destinations. 

What to expect

Relax at Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach, Sydney

Experience Australia's most famous beach and explore the iconic Sea Wall. Enjoy breakfast and some free time to walk along the coast and soak in the ocean views. 

Thrilling rides at Luna Park Sydney

Milsons Point, Sydney

Explore Sydney's heritage-listed amusement park. Enjoy unlimited access to a variety of attractions such as the Big Dipper, Ferris Wheel or Coney Island.

Comfortable return trip

Return to Macquarie University

Sit back and relax as we journey back to our starting point. Arrival time at Macquarie University: 5:45pm.

What to bring?

Comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle and a camera. 

Weather

The tour will run in most weather conditions. Please dress accordingly. 

Food options

Lunch is included. If you have dietary requirements, please notify us in advance. 

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation for up to 7 days prior to the event. 

50% refund for cancellations 3-6 days prior to the event. 

No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
